This self-appointed keeper of the classic American song knows from which he sings. Teaming here with piano man Weber Iago for the kind of performance you would see walking through the lobby of the Bellagio, but would actually stay and have a drink and listen to, Kaplan covers a handful of the basic, hard-core classics and really put his stamp on it. A winning adult and urbane set throughout.
